2021 Annual Report
In 2021 we continued our work to build an environment here in Omaha where artists can thrive. We directed almost $50,000 to local artists through our Artist Grants and Alternate Currents programs. These programs gave artists access to holistic channels of support (financial, critical, and logistical) to develop new work, evolve their creative practices, and connect with their communities. We thank you for your continued support of Amplify Arts and local artists!
2020 Annual Report
The importance of artists and the arts more broadly to our collective experience of 2020 (and our recovery) cannot be overstated, and we are dedicated to supporting artists every step of the way. Eighty-four artists received $75,000 in support from Amplify Arts in 2020. We also led a group of 30 arts and culture organizations to realize a more unified, innovative, and progressive sector, ensuring artists are able to live, work, and play in Omaha for years to come. 2020 Autumn Update
We’ve arrived in fall 2020 already, and it has been a tumultuous, humbling, stressful, and motivating (pick your favorite!) year. Our community has faced a lot of challenges, and through your generous partnership and support we have been able to put more resources directly into artists’ hands.
2019 Annual Report
2019 was our first full year as Amplify Arts. We started out the year adding a new space and a new face to our team. The rest of 2019 was an amazingly fun blur of doing our favorite thing: awarding grants to artists. In 2020 we are looking forward to working with artists and representatives from all areas of the arts sector to break down barriers that are holding artists back from their ideal careers, reshaping these systems on a macro level. 2018 Annual Report
2018 was a big year for us! Our 10th Anniversary saw us move to a new home in Little Bohemia, award over $40,000 in the first year of the Artist Grants program, change our name to Amplify Arts, and much more!
