In this position, you’ll organize, coordinate, and sustain the financial resources required to support all aspects of Amplify Arts’ mission and operations. This role leads the organization’s individual giving, grant development, and sponsorship efforts by cultivating meaningful relationships with donors, foundations, corporations, and government funding entities.

What You’ll Do:

  • Meet with a potential donor to discuss Amplify’s programs and initiatives.

  • Draft a grant proposal that includes detailed timelines and budgets.

  • Research sponsorship opportunities for an upcoming program or event.

  • Organize a quarterly Community Advisory Group and Board meeting.

  • Work with fabricators and structural engineers to troubleshoot complicated installations.

  • Work on a grant report that asks for impact data.

  • Meet with the team to develop new strategies for seeking both earned and contributed income.

 

What We Hope You’ll Bring:

  • Experience in fundraising and development, community engagement, or related roles.

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

  • Comfort with self-direction and proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

  • Ability to prioritize relationships, projects, and tasks that support a long-term vision.

  • Commitment to equity, inclusion, and supporting artists and creative communities.

  • Familiarity with Omaha’s funding landscape and community supporters.

 

What Amplify Offers:

The salary for this position is $72,100. Amplify Arts has adopted wage equity, meaning all staff are paid at the same level. The usual work week period is 32 hours. Amplify Arts trusts that employees are capable of managing their own schedule.

Since Amplify Arts practices person-centered PTO, employees are encouraged to take time to celebrate holidays in a way that honors them. Staff will collectively determine separate, reasonable ‘office closed’ dates as necessary throughout the year, including 13 identified holidays.

Additionally, Amplify Arts offers the following benefits and supports to staff:

  • 403b: contribution match up to 3%.

  • 80% health insurance reimbursement.

  • Personal time off (PTO eligibility begins immediately upon hire).
