Amplify nurtures Omaha’s arts ecosystem by responding to and advocating for artists’ needs, cultivating a sustainable network of mutual support that allows them to live and thrive here.
Fiscal sponsorship helps artists leverage some of the benefits of Amplify’s tax-exempt status to solicit tax-deductible donations and apply for funding without incorporating into a new nonprofit.
Fiscally sponsored projects can:
Apply for grants and corporate sponsorships.
Pay individual contractors or project partners directly through Amplify to lessen individual tax burdens.
Solicit funds which are eligible for tax-deduction to your donors.
Ask for guidance and administrative support from Amplify's staff.
Fiscally Sponsored Projects
Languid is an independent, feature-length film by Nebraska-based filmmaker and visual artist MJ Strasburger. It is a meditation on the ambiguities of love, youth in a time of decay, and impermanence. Images and sounds you can feel; incandescent suburbs, glowing skin, dew-speckled prairies, and burning love.
Fortuna is an art space and residency exchange program that connects artists and communities in Omaha, Nebraska and Mexico City committed to forming meaningful and reciprocal interactions between creative individuals in our communities through our exhibitions, workshops, and site-specific residencies.
