Experience what the Omaha metro arts community has to offer with an Amplify Arts Patron Membership
Amplify Arts’ Patron Membership connects audiences to artists by making space to build and cultivate meaningful and lasting personal relationships. Patron Members receive invitations to monthly events - opportunities to meet innovative local artists of all disciplines and attend exclusive readings, performances, artist talks, tours, studio crawls, and behind-the-scenes experiences.
This membership is relationship based, and no purchases beyond the membership fee are required. Whether you're new to the Omaha arts scene or an old pro, everyone is welcome to join and encounter local artists and their work firsthand.
Annual Patron Memberships are $75/individual or $125/household (2 adults) and include:
Free attendance at exclusive, bi-monthly events
Members-only previews of Generator Grant exhibitions
20% discount to GRAVE, Amplify Arts’s annual fundraiser
Amplify Arts tote bag
Plus, additional membership benefits as we grow!
Individual membership benefits are valued at $150 total. Your Patron Membership purchase is not tax deductible. Your membership fees go directly back into improving the resources we provide to artists, like WAW, Artist INC, and Artist Grants.
Who can be a Patron?
ANYONE! Being a patron simply means showing your support however you can:
by attending shows and performances,
spreading the love online, and/or
buying local art/music
In today’s interconnected world patrons are young and old, knowledgeable and still learning, able to spend a lot or spend just a little, and everywhere in between. What matters is your belief in local artists as changemakers for our community.
Relationships are key to the success of the artist community
Relationships with peers, patrons, and arts industry professionals can spark new ideas for collaboration, social and financial support, and new opportunities.
From the New York Times article Suffering for Your Art? Maybe You Need a Patron, by Jennifer Miller:
“Donors understand how important it is to support artists—not just the art.” -Caroline García Jayaram, 42, president and chief executive of the National YoungArts Foundation.
“You’re supporting artists holistically. You’re a card-carrying member of the artist’s support system. A quasi-mentor at times.” -Matt Ross, 56, Collector
This membership is rooted in relationships, not transactions. However, the opportunity to purchase artworks may present itself at Patron Membership events. This is at the discretion of the host artist or artists, and Amplify Arts does not facilitate or handle any transactions. Amplify Arts does not take any fees for works sold during Patron Membership events.
Upcoming Patron events:
