Home, Community, and Sense of Place Call for Art

Joslyn Castle & Gardens and Opera Omaha are pleased to open a call for art for Home, Community, and Sense of Place, an exhibition at Joslyn Castle & Gardens that explores the deep and often complex connections between belonging and the idea of home.

Artists are invited to reflect on how individuals and communities experience, construct, and define place. What does home look like for you—or in what landscape do you feel most grounded? How do communities form, adapt, and sustain themselves? What happens when that sense of belonging is challenged, fractured, or transformed?
