Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grants: Cancellation Funds

We are at a time of deep uncertainty around arts funding. Rapid shifts in federal priorities have already led to canceled opportunities and reduced budgets for many artists. In response to these urgent needs, FCA is expanding the scope of their Emergency Grants program, with the generous support of the Jerome Foundation, to assist artists whose engagements have been canceled due to the loss of federal funding.

Beginning in July, FCA will offer monthly grants of up to $3,000 to help cover losses from these cancellations. Eligible applicants include experimental artists working in dance, music/sound, performance art/theater, poetry, and/or visual arts with 2–10 years of artistic practice, based in any of NYC’s five boroughs. Please note: the usual 3-year wait period between FCA grants does not apply to this opportunity.
